Several tips for full time RV living and sell my motorhome

May 3, 2019 / CaidaWarsaw / 0 Comments

A combination of freedom and adventure, recreational vehicle life is fabulous. But there are many aspects that can be optimized, to make your RV life even better. It can be a challenge to figure out what to bring for full time RV living. “Is one pair of sandals enough or do I need a second pair for campground showers?” We ended up having way too much stuff. After a month of RV living we decided to sell the bicycles because we never used them. A few months later, we performed a spring cleaning by re-evaluating everything in the RV. Many articles of clothing ended up in the donation pile because neither of us had touched them since we moved in. “I’ve been looking for this!” The spring cleaning also reminded us of things we’d brought that we forgot about. This is also a great time to reorganize and optimize storage. After the initial cleaning, most of our bays, cupboards and drawers ended up half empty. That’s also about the time we realized a small Class A motorhome was too much space for us. Now we travel full time in a Class B camper van.

Before you start living in your RV, you need to have a plan. Find out the reason for this change then you can address various concepts of your new life. One of these concepts regards to your finances. Living life on the road will simplify your life in many ways, but you will still have bills to pay. RV security system pick : Tattletale RV Alarm: This is another advanced security alarm system designed with modern technology to give your RV great protection from burglars. It has one of the fastest cellular alarm systems on the market, powered by Verizon at no cell charges. It is easy to set up and takes only about 60 seconds, can be plugged into any outlet and has an after-charge performance of up to 20 hours. What this means is that even when it is not connected to an electric source, you can continue to enjoy efficient protection.

Before you dive into the details of this transition, you first need to set a departure date. I know that might sound a bit overzealous. After all, how do you know how long it will take to prepare for living in a camper full-time? The truth is, you don’t. But if you don’t give yourself a deadline then there’s no real sense of urgency, and there’s a good chance you’ll still be talking about going on the road this time next year. A departure date makes all your planning more real, and certainly more urgent. And that is a great motivator for making this dream happen. How much time you’ll need depends on your current lifestyle. For instance, if you own a home, then you first need to decide if you’re going to sell or rent it out, or keep it. If you decide to sell, you’ll have to prepare your house for sale, which can take quite some time depending on how much there is to do.

We Pride ourselves in being honest and upfront with out the games involved with buying or selling RV’s. We have a huge financial background to help sustain the cash on hand to make quick transactions and the drivers on staff to help make it smooth and efficient as well. You will deal only with decision makers so there will be no waiting on an amount for your RV and no back and forth negotiation. There are so many RVs for sale in the world right now, and so many ways to sell them. Some people are selling their motorhomes because they need some cash. Some simply cannot handle the payments and insurance costs. Others want to sell their RV because they want to buy a larger or smaller model. So the prominent question circling the water cooler today is “How to sell my RV.” Read additional details at Sell my RV today.

RV parking tricks : We use two-way radios to give us a way to talk to each other and to lessen the impact if I inadvertently end up in a position where Mark can’t see me in the rearview mirror. We use the longest distance radios we can get, to make sure the signal is decent. Right now we have 36 mile GMRS radios, which are realistically good to about 3-5 miles. We used these on our boat (a godsend when anchoring) and we’ve used them ever since we started RVing. We’ve gone through three sets so far, because the salt air ate up two pairs during our cruising years.
