Fabulous Palmas Del Mar Puerto Rico destinations and vacation guides: Caribbean hospitality and adventure await you in Puerto Rico! Be our guest and connect with the romantic essence of the Island while enjoying our endless amenities. Soak up blissful days in paradise. It’s a town unto itself with a school, hospital and post office, several restaurants, shops, and other facilities that any town center would have. There’s one existing hotel and two luxury properties under construction. Several of the residences are available for rent through a vacation club or real estate office. But, if you are looking for a little more than just laying around the pool, Palmas Del Mar is a great jumping off point for all the island has to offer. Read additional details on Palmas Del Mar.

Palmas de Mar Beach is located within the Palmas del Mar facilities in Humacao. To enter, you have to inform the security of the complex that you are going to the beach which will let you pass without any problem. They will also inform you where to park. At the moment parking is free. At first, it seems that instead of going to the beach, you are going to a rainforest. But suddenly you will see that the path opens up, and you will see a perfect crescent of white sand, with hundreds of palm trees growing pointing towards the sea.

Vieques, eight miles from mainland Puerto Rico, has become a popular beach resort with small, upper-end hotels, restaurants, shops, and galleries. With the departure of the United States Army from the island in 2003, Vieques turned its focus to tourism. Beautiful beaches are now supported with a quality tourism infrastructure that attracts both Puerto Ricans and foreign travelers, who take the time to make their way over to the island. There are no large hotels or high-rise condo complexes. At 21 miles long and five miles wide, Vieques is the largest of the Spanish Virgin Islands but still offers a small-island feel. The island is also known for a unique phenomenon at Mosquito Bay (also known as Bioluminescent Bay), where a large concentration of phosphorescent dinoflagellates light up movement in the water at night. Take a tour, either in a boat or canoe, or a bioluminescent bay kayak trip after dark to experience this natural wonder. While this phenomenon occurs in other areas of Puerto Rico, this is this best place to experience it. Vieques can be reached by air or ferry, with ferries departing from Fajardo.

At the Humacao Nature Reserve or Punta Santiago Reserve you will find a variety of things to do. There you can find trails to walk, bike, light hike, also beaches and panoramic coastal views, places to fish and you can also rent kayaks and bikes. You might also be able to see some species such as sea turtles, iguanas and also Carey and Tinglar species, which uses this reserve as a nesting location. Water Sports and Ecotours offer different kayak and paddleboard tours around the reserve. You can find them on their Facebook page or calling 787-397-1900. Knowing its history, makes the Nature Reserve even a most desirable place to visit and explore.

Puerto Rico is a complex island with a Spanish Caribbean culture and an obvious American twist. This is particularly visible around San Juan, with its American chain restaurants and other comforts associated with mainland USA. Venturing further afield, you will find quaint towns, small villages, beautiful islands, caves, and a rugged mountainous interior. Walking the streets of Old San Juan, with its lovely colonial architecture and imposing forts, is like stepping back into another era. This is one of the best places to visit in Puerto Rico, so make sure you allow some time on your itinerary for this city.

The Palmas del Mar has the largest and most comprehensive tennis club in all of the Caribbean. Tennis pros and novices love all of the different playing options they’ll come across at the resort. There are a grand total of 14 hard courts, four true clay courts and two artificial grass courts on the property. Programs sponsored by the tennis club include private lessons, skill clinics and tennis cardio workout routines. The fitness center at the club also has a full-service gym, an aquatics center and a tennis pro shop. Discover even more details on https://enjoypalmasdelmar.com/.
