August 19, 2018 / CaidaWarsaw / 0 Comments

Do you think to see New Zealand? If you’re traveling to New Zealand any time after October 1st, 2019, you’re going to need either an actual visa, or an ETA if you’re from a “visa waiver country”. Basically, if you needed a visa before this date, you still need one. If you didn’t, and could simply hop on a plane, like citizens from the USA, UK, Canada, Singapore, Germany and numerous other countries you’ll now need to fill out the ETA before you do and pay for it too. If you don’t, you won’t be able to board the plane.

Permanent residents of Australia who are not Australian citizens and are travelling on another country’s passport will need to obtain an ETA, as well as visitors from other visa-waiver countries including the United States, Canada and the UK. A single ETA will cover multiple trips into New Zealand, whether business or leisure, and passengers in international transit will still require an ETA, even if they don’t cross the border into New Zealand.

Is it worth to visit New Zealand ? I would say a big YES! Top destinations in New Zealand and eTA application : As both the largest city in New Zealand and its international air-travel hub, Auckland is one of the best places to go in New Zealand. Many international flights arrive in New Zealand through Auckland Airport, which makes it an ideal city from which to start your exploration of New Zealand. Spend at least a day or two in Auckland—named one of the top 10 cities in the world in 2014 by Lonely Planet—before venturing further afield in New Zealand. Here are our suggestions for what to see and do in Auckland: Get some culture by visiting one of the many museums in Auckland, such as the Auckland Art Gallery. The Auckland Art Gallery is the largest art institution in New Zealand, featuring more than 15,000 works of historic, modern, and contemporary art. If the weather is nice, take a stroll through the 185-acre Auckland Domain park. If you’re visiting on a Saturday, include a stop at the nearby Parnell Farmers’ Market, which sells fresh produce in the morning. Auckland is also home to a host of multicultural bars and restaurants serving up all types of cuisine, so be sure to dine in downtown Auckland (and go out for a cocktail or two to check out the nightlife).

In the sunny region of Hawke’s Bay, Napier is famous for its gourmet food and Art Deco architecture. After a powerful earthquake destroyed the town in 1931, it was rebuilt in the Spanish Mission style and Art Deco design for which Miami Beach is also famous. Today, visitors can take self-guided tours to view these buildings, some of which are embellished with Maori motifs. Along the Marine Parade seafront promenade lies the town’s famous statue from Maori mythology called Pania of the Reef. Napier is also a haven for foodies. Gourmet restaurants here specialize in using fresh produce from the region, and the town plays host to popular farmers’ markets. Nearby attractions include hiking trails and the gannet colony at Cape Kidnappers.

A sparkling blue glacial lake that practically envelops New Zealand’s most popular tourist town. Queenstown is filled with wonderful sights and activities, and Lake Wakatipu seems to be right at the forefront of many of these – it’s a popular place for walking, cycling and even picnicking. Here’s an underrated treat for you. Hokitika Gorge is located in the South Island’s West Coast region, and its waters have a remarkable turquoise tinge that you won’t get to see elsewhere. Walk around the gorge to marvel at a concoction of breathtaking glacial waters, rock stilt and plankton.
